I'm curious about what determines "member status." What does "HoJos or bust" mean?

Is there a listing that defines what the various designations signify?

Hey mum,

There are 7 member levels on T4T, starting with new members (newbies) who start out as a Pinkham Notch Visitor.

As a member is more actively involved on the site, they attain a higher level or status so to speak. You reach a higher member level based on the number of posting you make on the board. The level titles were chosen based on levels of experience people have at Tuckermans.

T4T Levels...

1 - Pinkham Notch Visitor -> 0-9 Postings
2 - HoJo's Or Bust -> 10-19 Postings
3 - Lunch Rock Dude -> 20-29 Postings
4 - Sherburne Trail Master -> 30-39 Postings
5 - Little Headwall Master -> 40-49 Postings
6 - Headwall Master -> 50-99 Postings
7 - Toni Matt Club -> 100+ Postings

If you click on the your user name to the left of any of your postings (and above your avatar), you will see your profile including the number of posts you have made (in your case mum, 14).

Only M@ has reached the highest level, and enjoys sole membership in the elite Toni Matt Club.

Toni Matt by the way is the famed Austrain ski instructor, world-class skier and captain of the US Ski Team, who back in 1939 won the Great Inferno race. The race ran from the summit of Mount Washington down Tuckermans ravine to Pinkham Notch (a 4,200ft vertical). Tony managed the task in 6 min 29.2 seconds. His record still stands today (so much for the new high tech equipment, I want my straight boards, leather boots and cable bindings back!).

HoJo's or Bust - well it means that your able to make it up to HoJo's (at least)... and 'Bust'... well you'll get up there regardless I suppose. You get the picture.

At my "home" website www.ridecamelback.com/forums (http://www.ridecamelback.com/forums) i have over 1,000 but they don't have any Clubs or anything :mad:
Anyway I thnk it also helps if you have been to the Mt before :rolleyes:

I confess I felt slightly awkward when I hit Headwall Master. I've skied most of it, but just haven't been there when there is enough snow to ski the whole thing. I've skied some pretty sick stuff 45+ in other places so I will actually feel OK about beimg in the T.M. club... when that day comes

Let's see.. what else to say. Shout out to SkiCDave for the awsome board. Really top notch and super clearing house for tux info as always. Hope to see SaxMan up in the bowl again someday... with SaxAble weather. Maybe we should say "Saxual" weather instead.

Okay, now I'm just rambling, and I've got more than enough posts as it is, and now I may have given away my secret to being in the ToniMatt Club.

Where's my sticker? Maybe a patch? How about a mug or something...

Man, I could have milked this one post into like 5 easy. But I'll end with the fact that I'm gonna try to bring my little girl up there this weekend... it's gonna be a trip for her mostly, as I can't bring her AND skiis. So look out for a jealous looking guy with a 2 yr-old on his back and lots of camera stuff.

I'll bump my 10% chance up to 15% with the 'partly sunny' forcast I just read.
