I had heard tell of this place from elwood, but tonight I finally got to go inside. The conference I was at in boston (endeca discover 2005) had a fenway event tonight. The Red Sox were in Cleveland (they won BTW) so we went to Fenway for dinner in the HOF club, and a tour of the park. It was a group of like 50 people, and me and my boss were TOTALLY the biggest red sox fans... we had so much fun compared to everyone else it just wasn't fair...
Got to hold and closely inspect a real world seires ring, and got this picture:

It was SOOO much fun for me and my boss, but just "a thing" to everyone else... they were mostly out of town. A few "baseball fans" realized the significance of being on the fiield at fenway park... and most people saw how much fun we were having bouncing off the outfield walls pretending to make a catch... and banging on the green monster... and trying to sneak onto "the turf"... and I got to hold a real world series ring... I dunno... I know a couple of you would be like "WOW" but I know most are like, "Yet another red sox thing...." anyhow... for the former half: WHOO HOOO!
And so what the spankies got 13runs in one inning tonight... we're still beating them, and they got shut out 22-0 last year.
