Who's in? I'll be heading up Friday and I'm hoping to meet up with Ski Stoogie and NJAB on Saturday. With this snow the Sherburn should be very skin/skiable.
Let pray for more snow.

What? Is nobody going to make it on Friday. Don't you all know that heeps of snow are going to fall on Thursday. I know because I have been doing my dances all week - naked in two feet of snow on my front lawn.

Ahhh, here it is!!! What's your plan of attack? Lodging, food, beer (hydration)... I don't have skins, but I am in fine hiking shape in anitcipation of this years winter fun!!! I may be hiking to get a view this weekend, depends on the weather. I've not had a nice clear day, with fairly easy hiking (not facing death) in almost a month. So, if it's really cloudy, I may be in. If it's gorgeous, I may have to hike elsewhere. If it's raining, it'll likely be snow up there ;)
Let's see how the weather pans out over the next few days and go from there...

 I would really love to go, but I already called in sick recently, and I really was sick. I have to work Friday/Sat a.m. Hmmm, maybe a relapse...cough, cough
If you're going again on a weekend I am all over that.

Ski&Ride -
The good news is you do not have to call in sick. I'll probally be at Pinkham around 8-9 PM to spend the night in the shelters, after a night hike in. Still interested?

Oops, I just edited my last post to say that I have to work for a few hours Saturday so that pretty much kills my weekend. I have a friend coming over on Sunday, or else I would switch my work to then. But I am definately interested in doing this another time.
I play hockey Tuesday mornings, but if you all are going to make more Guido's trips, I'll take a morning off & join in the fun soon. I'll keep checking the board for updates.

BCSkier - Where in NH are you? My plan is to leave Exeter around 7:00 or earlier if possible. Get to Pinkham and skin/hike up. In the morning head up to the Ravine and poke around. If Little Headwall is skiable the I would like to do some laps. If not, then down the Sherburn and maybe head over to Wildcat for a run down from the top. Beers always great after the trip. Thinning the blood on a night the could drop below zero is not recommended, but a beer or two or three couldn't be that bad - right?

There should be some others from the TRT board who will be there. I am a definate as I have had this on my calendar from months. The last time I did a night hike in id didn't even need a headlamp and it was a cloudy night with no moon. The snow led the way.
If your intested PM with your contact info and we can make the official plan.

Hmmm..Tha Dawg could be interested, as his Friday nite plans just fell thru. I would have to represent the riding community of T4T...and meet some of ya all.
Seriously though - Would love to do a winter trip and would definitly be interested in laps off of Little Headwall/ Lower Snow fields on Sat.....
I dont have a split board, so would it be practical hiking? Postholing from Pinkhan to the shelters (In the dark w/pack/board/gear)doesnt sound too logical (unless I'm missing something)??
Thoughts.??

Pdawg - Join us if you can. I guess as the organizer of this trip I'll try and coordinate a meeting time at Pinkahm. Where are you coming from and what time could you be at Pinkham?
It was looking like it was going to be a solo trip until a few of you started getting interested.
I looking forward to meeting up with you.
I've been planning a Friday ski trip for a while.
2003-12-12 Friday
Cannon has $20 Demo day ($20 = LiftTix + Demo)
Attitash has FREE SKIING (yup, free!)
Kfar: Sounds like you're planning a friday NIGHT hike up to Shelters. I guess that's not in the cards for me. McIntyre orientation meeting thing friday night.
Speaking of TUX: Hitting downtown Nashua in about 30min, doing lunch at The Garden, and some shoppnig for xmas.

M@ - if i could only take the day off on Friday. Its looking like I wont make it up to Pinkham until 10:30 or so, alot later than I was planning. I was hoping you could make it but I understand. Gotta pass on lunch as I am meeting an old friend at Martha's.
Let me know how the McIntyre thing goes. I'm off to Tucks and my wife is meeting friends Friday night. We made these plans awhile ago so there only negotiable if emergencies arise. Lets hope not.

I'll be skiing for $15 @ Attitash on Saturday (canned food day). But I'll send a wave or two over Tuckermans way.

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I'm not sure how great the skiing will be; it's looking pretty bad out the window right now in Laconia, NH...VERY rainy, and during my run today the snow is starting to disappear, it seems like it's worse than I would expect.
However, bring a camera, and so the rest of us can see what happens, and we'll hope for the best!
That being said, it's starting to look like we might get 2-3 Nor'Easters next week, with snow!!!! mmmmm :snowflakes:
