I didn't make it out skiing. So what did I do you ask

I practiced packing my backback - over and over and over. I think I have it just right now for an overnight at Tucks and it weighs only 35 lbs.

Not included in my packweight is 2 days of food, ski helmet, cook ware, stove and rain jacket. I think I can keep my pack under 45 lbs for my spring trips.

Future gear will include crampons, and ice ax, shovel probe and beacon.

Looks like I'll need a bigger pack next year.

I have not skiid either Kfar. I have been eating. We sat at the dinner table for most of 6 hours eating a 10 course meal for 12 on Friday, since then we have been in recovery.

Although I am happy with my packweight I forgot to mention I'll be carrying about an extra six that I packed on around my waist over the holidays.

I need to go out for a long day of skinning to burn that off.

I dunno how, but I made it through t-giving and x-mas and didn't put on any weight. I was far from conservative about eating too. No idea how that works.

:cookies: instead of :skicool: ? Unthinkable

Packing on a few pounds from :beermug: , :cookies: ? The answer is easy -> more.
Be totally irresponsible, and just go....if they love you they will understand. Afterall, it's for your long-term well-being. It's unhealthy to sit around and eat. :D
