OK, tuckerteam. With the final runup to the season coming on, we're all excited about hitting the snow. We've had a few months off to regroup, recover, and repay. What are your new developments for this past year?
For me, I just picked up those snowblades and a pair of old Karhu Outbounds. I'm looking forward to a snowy season for backcountry and alpine skiing.
I got a new pair of Burton Snowboard pants.... With a zip on high top for those "bad days"
Also expecting a new Never Summer (http://www.NeverSummer.com) Premier snowboard

no $'s for new stuff :(. But The Austrian shhh took pity on me after he told me my main skis were on its last tune-up and gave me a pair that someone never picked up. Nothing special, srait skis like my others, but at least I have the backup without resorting to my rock skis. :)

No gear here either... we purchased 4 pairs of skis last year and 2 helmets. Hmmm but I could use a new pair of boots, and my jacket could be 'refreshed'. Gloves are good for another year... good on the thermals. Guess I'm pretty much set!
But alas, my son needs skis and boots... :moneygraemlin:

I got a new burton snowboard, pants, and jacket...now all i need is some :snowflakes: !!!
I've got bunch of stuff I want at the decathalon that's going outta biz next to us. (A lot are going down - keep your eyes open, and post if you see a good deal on this stuff)
Solomon Ski Blades ($200 normal rape price, $125 now, waiting for better)
Noridica Boots (B17?)
Kids Snow Shoes (like $20 now, gonna walk out for them for $5, recognize!)
A bunch of ski clothes that'll be mine - oh yes, they will be mine
I'm watching the rest of the store - and I think a punching bag would be a good outlet for the 3 yr old Anna.
I think the northern lights are getting to me - cosmic radiaton and annaphasic energy affecting the thought process.

I got new Burton Ruler boots...three years old, brand new. Exact same as the ones I ride now.
$79 bucks canadian. Got the girl some new boots too. Two year old, brand new 99 bucks (lists for 300). Finally the ski show comes through.
nothing big, but I did score a new pair of Marmot Borealis gloves: Skiing and climbing.
Also nabbed a pair of EMS expedition mitt liners, puffy Primaloft to go with my basic shell mitts: Belays (hauling in the rope is a slow business sometines) and/or really cold days, like -10F and lower.
Beyond that I also picked up another year...whoopee!

Wishing for a pair of fatter (90mm) skis with a Fritchsi Freeride AT set up; so far only invested in some ski clothes; wait-and-see how the checkbook looks after buying my son new ski boots.
There's actually going to be something new this season at HoJos: safe drinking water. I hear USFS was drilling a well last month; so goodbye surface water through the black PVC pipe with the warning signs to disinfect it. Not sure if this well water will only be available for the snow rangers and tucks caretakers, but I was under the impression it will also serve the hiking/skiing public. The black PVC pipe annually made it's appearance around Memorial Day, in time for the summer hikers, so there may be no (visible) change during ski season.

Me?.....Nothing.. Maybe a helmet? I'd love an AT setup however..And actually probably a set of Slalom/hardsnow skiis. I'm spending more time on the lifts with the kids..

*Arcetryx Knee Caps
*New Mountain Gear backpack
Possibly a new pair of skis will be in order sometime this winter, although I'm not sure yet...
Right now considering the Bobtails, Super Stinx, or TM:22s, all with 7TMs...Any thoughts?
Now what I really need is some new :snowflakes:
