Hi,

we're planning a trip for the May 14-15th weekend;
how`re conditions so far? will they last?

also, any good camping sites where dogs are allowed?

Thanks!

Dogs are not allowed overnight period. I know it sucks as I personally can't see why thery are not allowed at the tent platforms?

Maybe if you camped at GOS you'd be alright? Anyone know this?

When you reserve your spot at Hermit lake the dood at the visitor center says no pets, no dogs and no :chicken:s I was quite bummed i couldn't bring my :chicken: ;)

You intened on camping up in the mountain or you willing to go back to visitors center at end of day and drive 5 minutes up 16 North?

If you're willing to drive, try Barnes field. Just used it this past weekend. Honor system on the pay, $10.00 per carload. Nice level campsites with pinic tables, and a fire ring (get your own wood). Latrines. It filled up by the end of the evening, which I didn't think would happen. Not really a rowdy crowd. I think theres something like 11 campsites. First come, First served. I'd get there before nightfall for sure..

Heres a link.

Thanks for the info.

we'll try either Barnes Field or "Dolly Copp". In the end, Elvis (the dog) will decide.

Cheers,

Michel
