Tonight was a lot of fun at KC's. Hope it happens again soon. And because it's too painful to think about the loss right now, I'll post the ski trips I promised at KC's which will surely pick us up.

Indeed I will lurk no more. With snow fast approaching it gives me all the more incentive to post (and to ski (http://www.djangobliss.com/viewreview.html?rcid=82) ).
When is this December trip happening?

Glad to see you guys pulled it off!!!
now...opn to the drunken stories like where M@ ripped the geetar off the wall and wailed on it like the Budy Guy Poster on the wall....Do tell.
I feel lonley up here in Toronto. Me and 10-7 could meet up in hamilton tho somehow two guys showing up to a bar with googles on is kinda creepy....a crowd of them is just fun.

Good Morning All.
I think think I'm still half asleep this morning. I had a great time and thanks for putting up the pictures M@.
Django - we gotta do the Guido Trail, looks quite nice from the picture you posted.
I Can't believe how normal or freaky every one was. The good news is all us normal or freaky people were cool.
Definatley looking forward to a day of skiing with all you peeps. I have a feeling I'm gonna be pushing myself to keep up with most of you, I view that as a good thing.

Hey I could meet you guys have way... maybe there is a decent bar in Kaladar? LOL
Bannick, are you going to the Toronto Ski Show? I was there fall 2001. It was super compared to the Ottawa show.
Here in Ottawa the show was an even worse disaster last year. As Avril Livigne would say, 'It not getting any famouser'. They didn't even allow the stores to sell anything at the show. Several shops ended up setting up tents along Bank Street along the route to the ski show!
This year there are free :liftticket: to get into the show everywhere to entice people. But hey, last year :chair: Kate won a pair of free skis, so what the heck.

[Bannick, are you going to the Toronto Ski Show? I was there fall 2001. It was super compared to the Ottawa show.I haven't decided, we have a bunch of wedding stuff to do....the last time I went it was a little disappointing. The excitment about the fall isn't so much about new gear it is watching the snowline creep lower down the mountain thank god for webcams. They had snow to the village in whistler yesterday by the way. So unless you are buying putting up with the crowds is not so much fun. I usually wait till after the skishow to buy as the shops drop their prices even more.
Took some good movies last night, they are wicked dark, but the audio is good stuff.
We had a big toast to SkiDave! The Host of our Posts.
Did you guys all break up after I left?
SkiRide: Gimme free stuff! I'll pretend to be your brother or something. I need 180's shaped for trees.

LOL...I can just see us two showing up at a bar in Steeltown with ski goggles...suicide mission or we'd end up at the West 5th or Queen St. psyche.
I said this in chat last night, in response to what did everyone think of people wearing goggles and helmets, and the answer is: They loved it! I dunno what kinda reaction Kfar & SkiLas got being the first ones there, but when I walked in a couple people smiled and pointed me to the right table. And the people next to us were nice enough to take our picture. They thought it was pretty funny.
I'm sure if we had explained that we were an internet based group of pilgrims to a mountainside destination, they might have moved a little further away.

Last night was lots of fun, "googles" and all. I can't wait for the next get-together, hopefully on snow! Hope to meet many more of you Tuckerfriends also.
M@: I WISH I can get all my gear free! Anyway, I sent you an email w/ some info.
Busy Friday today...unfortunately back to :atwork: for me.

OK. Rub it in!!! Having to work sucked last night. I made the right call by going in when I did but I still wanted to be there instead. Only another year and my schedule gets back to a little better. At least I'll have graduated. ONE less thing! Next time. Al :skistooge:

Well, I wore my helmet, goggles and ski jacket last night meeting up with a couple ski buddies after work. The police took real interest in me strolling down the sidewalk at 1:00 am and were hard to convince that I hadn't even had anything to drink yet.
Looks like ya'll had a good time. Hope I can make one some time.
