DMC,
You know I am in. I will be in the VIP camping section. I am going to bring my Djembe, so if you will be drumming, I am sure we can "drum" up a drum circle... I can't find my damn 2-way, but I am going to go out and get another one, so we can find each other. No Dr. Phos on this mission, and I think M@ said he was out too... who else is going???
Damn, I hate being :atwork:
Colour me jealous. Little Banana's bday party is sunday, and I'll get fired if I'm not there.
Limestone is a great time. Dunno if they're doing the camping the same, but when we "Went" we camped on the RIGHT or the main parking lot (as opposed to the left/central tent city place) and had no tents near us, which was nice. Only 30 ft from the car, and no-one stepping on your head in the night.
BTW: I'm in this picture

Oh, and I also have access to the camp site on Thursday night, so I'll be there when you get there!
M@ - your a brave soul to wander around naked with all those young girls around... I actually slept through the whole thing that morning...
Elwood... How did you get VIP???
Do you have a FRS radio?

Hey M@,
Are you wearing your helmet in that picture?
DMC,
I got VIP thru friends that are in Phish management. Lucked out on that one... As for the FRS radio, I have a Motorola Talkabout somewhere, but haven't been able to locate it. I am going to buy another one this week, though.
You Burlington peeps got all the connections!!!!
I'm very stoked... Any inside word on the concert grounds... etc...

No inside word on anything yet DMC. They're keeping everything pretty tight lipped. All I know is the latest update from the www.phish.com (http://www.phish.com) website, which is minimal. The layout of the festival is going to be very different from the last two Limestone shows though, they moved the stage... I can't wait, I am jumping out of my seat thinking about it!!!

I can't wait, I am jumping out of my seat thinking about it!!! Me too!!!! A much needed "freak fest" for me...
Gotta cleanse myself after seeing Bruse Springsteen last night...

how is ol' Bruce doing anyway? Still rockin'? I never really liked Bruce that much. My apologies to any boss fans out there...

And he made me happy by playing "For You" and "Spirits Of The Night"...

DMC,
Still couldn't find my radio so I went to Best Buy and got a sweet deal on a couple of Talkabouts. I brought them home, and it turns out they are the low-end model without the privacy codes. Dammit. I'll either make an exchange, or just buy a single good one so we can link up on 4-22, instead of 4-0

OK, so it looks like only M@ and DMC are interested in this thread, but what do you guys think the opener will be at IT?
I am guessing a hot YEM opener, trampolines and all...
YEM would be sweet...
But I'd prefer they saved it until it got dark and the lights will be all trippy...
I'd like Limb By Limb or PYITE..
I can hardly pay attention :atwork:
On second thought.... Harpua...
Like the one they did at Sugarbush years back.. With the whole "getting hit by a comet' theme...
David Bowie
Like first fest in Plattysburgish.
M@
Bowie would be cool...
But the more i think about it I want PYINTE...
So psyched....
I guess there was no Bowie at the clifford ball, my memory fails me.
So I'll change my call to this:
Get the nice 60k+ crowd all quite waiting for it, and then those signature 4 drum beats:
BUM-BUM... BUM-BUM
and then 60k+ people all scream in unison: WILSON!
Man I wish I could go.

I am going to have to go with you on this DMC. I have yet to see a PYITE live. I have been dying for one of those since my first show back in 94. How about last night's kick ass setlist though!
Set 1: Daniel (Saw the Stone), Camel Walk, Gotta Jibboo, Cool it Down, Scent of a Mule, Fee > Timber (Jerry) > When the Circus Comes, McGrupp and the Watchful Hosemasters, Golgi Apparatus
Set 2: Crosseyed and Painless > Thunderhead, Brother, Harpua > Bittersweet Motel, Harpua, I Fooled Around and Fell in Love* > Hold Your Head Up > Harpua, David Bowie
Encore: Farmhouse
There's your Harpua for you DMC... And Camel Walk!!! I can't beleive the songs they have been busting out. I hope we don't get the usual Chalkdust, Wolfman's, NICU B.S. up in Maine. If I am driving 9 hours, they better bust something special out!!!

Additional stats on last night:
* First time played, w/ Fishman on vocals and vacuum. None of the first nine songs had been played this tour. Daniel had not been performed in the previous 280 shows, Harpua in 167.
Wow...
That was what I'd hoped for in Maine...
tick tiick tiiick tiiiick tiiiiiick tiiiiiiick tiiiiiiiiiiick.... the clock seems to be ticking slower...
