Chauvin (http://chauvinguides.com/conditionski.htm) reports, "Conditions on the Sherburne have greatly improved since last Thursday's snow storm. It now has great snow at the top and bottom and is just a little wind blown in the midddle, wind-exposed section."
Avalanche report (http://www.tuckerman.org/avalanche/index.html) (which you should read, even if you don't go above Hermit Lake) reports, "The John Sherburne Ski Trail has variable conditions from hard windslab to icy surfaces."
Could you make it Thursday? I'm 2% wednesday, but 79% Thursday afternoon.
I've gotta drive north wednesday and don't have to be where I'm going till around 7pm... Taking the afternoon off, and I'd rather hike to sherburn turns than pay for a half day somewhere else up there.
M@
Ill be up in the ravine thursday assessing avy conditions...skiing the sherburne down.

Sorry M@, I have to work thursday in Manch-vegas.
I could meet you early afternoon-ish Wednesday if that would work for you.
Or Cannon-Mittersill or Attitrash.
