Well my ski boots are in Bartlet so maybe I'll see you there. I'd perfer Killington but Wildcat might be easier and plus I got some GREAT BC beta for there while on vacation. Met a guy out there that worked there last year. He moved to Big Sky but he cut two trils last summer that he never told anyone about and never got to ski because he moved. :D I have a map on the back of a bar napkin.

Assuming I can talk you into it, when do you want to go up? I can go on Thursday night or on Friday wicked early...5-5:30AM start. I'll need to use my car so I can go back Friday night or early Sat because I'm scheduled at the store on Saturday.

The cover should be very nice for Trees and off-piste :D

Might be up for that if D can't get the day off?? I'd be up for the early AM drive. I have V-Ball on Thursday night until 11. I need to confirm if I have my boots at home or not. If I do I'm going to just hit K-Mart .. if i don't then I have to go up to Bartlet anyway. Will let you know either way later tonight or tomorrow AM.

I'll be at guidos friday afternoon if anyone wants to join me. probably about 2:30. new powder should be just in time for guidos whos cover is getting pretty thin. Although it skis a lot faster with this wet snow.

OOOH, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the TM 22s. I've heard lots of good feedback.

I just took Friday off. I can't stay at work during this storm. I'm going to carpool w/ friends who are also bailing work, and head to Mt. Sunapee. I have 2 games this weekend, and my legs will be shot, but I don't care!

Wooo hooo, bring on the snow. Praise Ullr!

Anyone else at Sunapee friday, feel free to hit me on the 9-14.

Just issued for Mt. Washington!! Woo Hoo!!!

...Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 1 am Thursday to 7 PM
EST Friday...

Expect total snow accumulation of 12 to 22 inches of snow through
Thursday night with additional accumulations likely on Friday.

 :D   :D   :D

I think that depatrue time from Boston should be around 3:30 AM. With 12 - 22 inches of snow the drive could be slow going .. but bring it on!! Never not made it skiing before!! WOO HOO!! Also bring your skins and BC gear! I've been at the cat where they got too much snow to open the top. In this case we go to man power! There are a few chutes I would kill to hit with 20" of snow!

I second that. You bring GREAT luck!! I don't think I get any more excited (with my clothes still on) than I am right now without actually being there. It's going to hard to focus today. :D

Do we need Weathermen on television? I mean they really suck and I am convinced the only time they the get it right is when they stick there head out the window and observe actual conditions! I knew last night I would not be waking up to snow, and sure enough its raining! They keep downgrading my snow totals by the hour and its really pissing me off! On Wednesday they work us all into a frenzy buying snow shovels, groceries and Burton Fishes with their with these bombardment of Winter Storm warnings, and ever growing snow totals...come on! and the last couple of dumps we got here it wasn't even forecasted! Do they use a magic eight ball to predict the weather?? I'm sure the mountains are and will be getting snow, but I'm going to go postal if they keep saying "it's the Mother load storm for the ski areas." we'll just have to see about that. Ok done ranting, I to have Friday off too, maybe Sugarloaf for me, just have to wait and see where the snow falls and how this storm actually plays out, Friday still may be too nasty to drive, even though the F'ing weather men say it will be winding down in the morning, what do they know, 25+ yeah right ..pin heads!

Where the hell is Merrimack County???

...Heavy snow affecting portions of new hamphire and western Maine...

A band of heavy snow extended from western Merrimack County New
Hampshire northeast through Grafton County into southern Coos County
in New Hampshire and on into Oxford County in Maine at 930 am. The
heaviest snow extended from near Bristol and Plymouth northeast
through Berlin at 930 am. The heavy snow band was nearly stationary.
Snowfall accumulations of up to 2 inches per hour can be expected
with this heavy snow band through 1130 am this morning. A spotter in
New London in western Merrimack County had already reported 8 inches
of new snow at 9 am this morning.

Ok I'm feeling better now, 11 o'clock and the rain has finally turned over to snow here in Southern Maine...maybe do Sunday River tomorrow or Wildcat.

I'll have one of those gay radios tuned to 9-14.

Latest update is 12"-14" as of now and still snowing hard! http://www.timefortuckerman.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif It's pretty thick stuff.... perfect snowball making snow! Or Igloos... or snowpeople... or whatever.... Great base!

I'll be on my way to Mt.Abram, looks like a dump happening there. Here in ManchVegas the snow has really let up in the past hour, unless it cranks back up I don't think the snowfall at Guido will be very significant. Hopefully it will crank back up, cos I hope to be up there skiing the west side Monday...
