I'm thinking that Tucks/Sherburne might be the only skiable runs this weekend with the rain expected everywhere else, but possible snow on Washington. Any comments? Anyone else heading up? Anyone comment on how strongly this weather might effect the current LOW avalanche forecast?
Can anyone give a recent condition update on the Sherburne?

Hey, we are heading up this weekend (there are three of us). Wwe are actually heading up Fri night. We are crossing our fingers that it doesnt get too icy up there as this is our only weekend to go. We will (hopefully) be camping at Hermit Lake so we will see ya up there.

I'm still considering it though I've almost given up. Weather seems iffy. I have the next 2 weekends to gamble on. The only thing suckier than skiing in the rain is hiking for hours with skis on your back in the rain! :p The chance of rain isn't that high, and it might even be snow, but I'd rather have clear skies and sun, so I think I'll take the gamble.

ehhh, this isn't looking like the weekend for me. I agree, hiking in the rain just isn't fun. I'm looking forward to next week when maybe the surface will be freshened up a bit. Goals this year, Hillman's and GOS, and I've got time....This weekend I'll catch up on my drinking and couch time that's been sorely neglected this awesome ski season.

hey, i did tuckermans and sherburne on thursday and everything was great. Sherburne was skiable the whole way down with 1 or 2 sections where you had to take it slow. Everything else was excellent!
