Mother's Day Weekend!!

Made my only ski trip to Tuck's Mother's Day weekend 2001. The snow was horrible, but the hike and the people were great. With the passage of 730 days, I'm ready to go back....

So what's the story? Is the snow ridable? Are the cheering crowds going to be present on Saturday and Sunday (I probably have to go on Sunday, just don't tell Mom). The weather conditions seem possible (30% chance of precipitation) but I'd love more info.

Oddly enough, I haven't been able to get answers to these questions online after about an hour of research. Two years ago, message boards like this one were buzzing with plans for Mother's Day weekend. Is my party going to be alone up there???

I doubt you will be alone up there Greggers. This is still prime spring skiing up in Tucks.

Weather is always a gamble. Crowds will be there no doubt if the sun is shining a bit.

There is lots of snow still, 100% natural even. Check the links on the site to recent photos taken May 5th (tuckerman.org).

Really starting to look like commitment to family stuff weekend instead of Tucks. Me am NOT real happy. Bummed out. Oh, well. When life throws you lemons, make lemonade. I just hope that the snow holds well for at LEAST another couple of weeks.....Try for next weekend, I guess. I have one of those jobs (I manage a wine & booze distribution warehouse in NH)where it takes me about 3 months to arrange a day off, so mid-week is, unfortunately, out. Have fun, be safe. Al
