4 trails ?
wasn't it 3 trails ?

(catwalk, mambo, homerun) ?

Anyway, yes, that's so great to finally see it open, after have delayed the opening date 3 times.

On the webcam, we see at 9h15 local place some skiers on the lower part of the trail... too cool to see !

Weird that Keystone doesn't try to open early, this year...

This race was as close as the Red Sox v the Yankees. The main difference is that in this case, I didn't really care which opened first, as long as they opened...

Glad to see some :snowflakes: progress.

EEK Dave, what happened to our white snowflakes?

On the news it says Loveland was the first ski area in north america to open. What about Mt. Hood, Tenney, Wistler (not sure about that one) and any other resort in Canada?

SDS : Mt Hood : Timberline is closed since about september 25. There is absolutely no snow anymore on the snowfields. I think they won't open before mid-late november.

Here it is : the large snowpatch is off-limit of the chairlift. The chairlift is just at the left of the little white patch on left. This was october 6, there is no snow remaining at all, as of the last pics I've seen of the place.

Tenney : you would really count that ??

Whistler : not open... it will reopen on november 27 and Blackcomb will reopen on november 22. There is no lifted ski areas open in Canada actually and the only one open in USA is Loveland, Colorado.

Let's go for a 862" of snow for both Tucks and Timberline, this winter ! lol

Beautiful weather here today, but doesn't look like much snow for us anytime soon... though good old Agiocochook (http://www.mountwashington.org/weather/today.html) is looking cold and stormy up top...
