Bladeguy and I are looking to catch some Mittersill action next Saturday (15th) and hopefully some Tuckerbrook as well. Anyone have an idea of the current conditions?

Conditions on the Tuckerbrook Trail were equally sketchy. 6-8" of very light powder on top of a base that ranged from 8" at 3500' to 0" at 1500'. The skiing was real nice until the base disappeared, and then things got interesting fast. Three of my group of six made it all the way down without removing skis---the other three walked the last 1.5 miles. "

From what I've heard, those skiing off the trails at Cannon recently have only recieved core shots for their troubles.

We need a LOT more base before the conditions approach typical mid-winter conditions. The piddly 45" that Cannon has recieved this season has been rained upon and melted far too much to have created a good base.

Can anyone remember a winter as mild as this with such low snow amounts? I can't in the past 25 years at least.
