Am I the only one who worries now that Powell is no longer on board? He seemed to be the only voice of reason that whole cabent. I must say that I have much respect for Powell, he kept his grumblings private and brought some dignity and respect to a man who deserves only pitty.

Am I the only one who worries now that Powell is no longer on board? He seemed to be the only voice of reason that whole cabent. I must say that I have much respect for Powell, he kept his grumblings private and brought some dignity and respect to a man who deserves only pitty.
I'm scared... Mainly cause other countries actually like him...
But really... GWB and Condi Rice pretty much politically emasculated Powell... It was horrible to watch - cause I think he's pretty cool...
If Powell would've had his way - we would not be at war with Iraq right now...

What ever the reason for the mass exodus his resignation was the only one that I thought was a good indication that Bush really is a hack. The big rat leaving the ship if you will.

Powell is a soldier, not a politician, which is why he is trust worthy. Listening to him address the United Nations made my stomach turn. To make a man of his stature swallow his pride and out right lie to a world that respected him is wrong. Bush could never have made that speech on his best day with the wind at his back, coked out of his mind.

You should visit www.fark.com....I Caught that story I think like two days ago..I think that ebay had it up, then took it down, then had it back up again...in any case..I Agree very odd.
I also think I saw a story about bidding for a date with a MTV "Real World" star Trichelle...or some crud..anywho..funny site...link style mostly headlines and some goofs...IMO very good, but if you frequent the main news site on any regular basis you sometimes catch the stories even before Fark can catch up....

Very sad that Powell is out, but at least Ashcroft is gone too, that makes me feel a little better.
