Damn, I had to work! At the Village House last night, I heard there were tracks all over Avalanche, Zoomer, Rocket, and Garys. Knowing these two, I'm sure the summit was all tracked up, too!

I would've loved to be there...unfourtanetly my Running Coach has forbidden skiing until the running season is over; he's afraid I'll get hurt...

1 more week, then I'm free to ski as I see fit.

It was nice to get in my first day of the season at Cannon yesterday. I guess my tradition of starting off at Killington has ended.

It's 45 degrees this morning, and the snow in my backyard is gone. There may still be a little left on the mountain, but I think the three-day window for getting tracks at Cannon may have closed.

I'm actually hoping to get some turns up @ Cannon next Sunday, but it looks like (extended forcast) it might be getting a little warmer... :(
