I am intending to go to Tucks this on Friday and planning to hike and ski Saturday. Is there anywhere on route 16 you can park and sleep in the car? Thanks

Suck it up and put a little money into the local economy, dude. There are plenty of places that you can get a room for 40 - 50 dollars a night. Here's a hint; start looking in Jackson, (Swiss Village, etc.) or work your way into N. Conway.
A good night's sleep will be a plus when you are hiking all day.

Dolly Copp/Parnes Field past the Auto Road (the Campground, not the Picnic Area). You could also try Hiker's Paradise in Gorham - good cheap fare. - SherpaKroto
It's "against the rules", but I know people who sleep in the Pinkham parking lot. If you're not burning a lantern all night or anything, you should be okay.
I did not say this.

Yeah, Hikers Paradise is $12 a night - how can you beat that? Heated, shower, a real mattress on a bunk, a decent kitchen - and it's right in Gorham.
