This is my board that Never Summer is making now. (I think about half done)
I must say im excited.
Never Summer has been awesome to deal with and id recommend them to everyone!

That is one reason they are so great.
I dont know of another Manufacturer that would take the time to send you pics of YOUR board being made.
so now we really will have to wait for you to decide: skin & ski, no split n'ride, skin & ski...better have a beer to help with this....no split n'ride, skin & ski, no split n'ride...make that a 40 to help decide....skin & ski, no split n'ride, skin & ski, no split n'ride......
think fast snow's coming!
Once you go Never Summer - It's tough to go back to anything else...

That is one reason they are so great.

I think it will depend on whom im out with....and conditions.
Early season
Area: Tele/ Resort board
BC: Split or Rock board depending on snowpack.
Mid to late Season:
Area: Depends on Park....maybe both!
BC: Split/Tele
Dammit! Now ya got me thinkin RR!
Very kewl to see a picture of your board being made. Gives you the feeling that they have a lot of pride in their work.

I think mostly conditions. If I had a snowboard, it would be strictly for powder days.

Ill snowboard BC until im better at Tele.
And if there is powder.....Ill snowboard, unless others are tele and im good enought to keep up.
You really got to get up to Hunter.. And ride with my Tele crew... I'm their token snowboarder.... These guys really kick but...

I still plan on spending MOST of my time on my snowboards.
I'm going to hit Windham for night skiing to learn how to tele...
It's right on the way home from work and the guy I carpool with is learning too,...
Ride - tele - ski - blade... it's all good...

I plan on doing the same thing after work.
Got a season pass to a local hill to get gbetter at tele....and their park is pretty aweseome too.

Bentley made this NS Premier for my Daughter a while back when she was 3 months (helmet not included). She's still learning how to walk. But it will not be long!! :)
Now all we have to do is wait a few more years before we split it with a kit :)

I am a crossover type slider as well... I am planning on focusing on getting good at tele this year though. But, I'll break out the alpine skis for a run or two each day...

Bolton Valley has Thursday night Tele clinics... It's like $15 for gear and a lift ticket. I think I'll be hitting that up a few times at least. (Although I already have the gear...)

I don't even know where to start this one. I have to preface this by saying I have nothing against anyone enjoying snow or people in the manor they see fit. On several occasions Affix has talked about skiing while we were out drinking. After a few beers I have a habit of asking him how he explained it to his mother that he was gay, implying that skiing in his case = homosexuality. On our last T4T adventure, I was talking to a girl at a bar and Affix walked up talking about skiing. I had to ask him that question and the girl stopped mid sentence and ran away. Riders can learn lesson here, making fun of skiers is bad karma which will result in you sleeping in tent with two drunk, snoring, males that keep trying to spoon with you.

I'm still confused... But more importantly... I'm not sure I care... (just joking)
So... How tough is it to split your own board and put inside edges on yourself......?

I didnt "walk up talking about skiing!"
We were all talking about snow, and elwood and i were talkin about how we both recently got into tele...then this chick walks up and is talkin to us and asks us if we skiied or how we knew each other or somthin....then the comment.
Regardless, it was friggin hilarious. She just snorted and left.
And hey! You were the one spooning doug!

So... How tough is it to split your own board and put inside edges on yourself......?
I dont think that is possible. I could be wrong, but its hard enough (for me) to repair a pulled edge, let alone put new ones in.
Ive read to just swap your halves on oppisite feet so you can use the outside edge as the inside.
