View Full Version : Grateful to the Beer Gods..
..that took me to a bakery (and more) in Cambridge where I found and had the sense to try Gulden Draak Ale http://www.globalbeer.com/web/body_pages/pages-beer/GuldenDraak/GuldenDraak.html It was the best 4.5USD that I have ever spent on 330ml of the purest nectar....
Mrs RR gave her seal of approval as well...and mind you, this ale has never been refridgerated. Just stunned..well, happy too :D

Sounds yummy! I wonder if it was the High Rise Bakery. Not many others serve beer.
A buddy of mine in S.F. introduced me to Leffe from Belgium this summer. It was pricey, around $10 for the six-pack, but oh-so-fine. I felt like a beer god.

Not a huge fan of Belgian beer. But it sounds more like a Barley Wine than a trippel (notice the proper spelling of the word...), so I wouldn't be afraid to try it.
I fear no Beer.

Don't forget Sumerian Economics....beer made them very prosperous....and that was a very long time ago.
Not to mention that it's good for the environment to have micro-breweries all over the place. One or two per neighborhood means that the mega breweries won't soak up so much in energy resources and there will be more jobs....
Very much social studies! And think of the homework possibilites!!!

Sometimes i am the mean teacher. but i try not to do the things to my students, that i hated when i was in school.
Then again, when they goof off/get on my nerves, then i do those things to keep some order. I really enjoy confusing the hell out of them :D
It makes them think im kinda nuts, which keeps them on edge. That in turn keeps class in line a little.

Teach them all that the left lane is for passing. Doesn't matter what classes you have.
Seriously - every class - have some sort of a bonus thing "Whoever gets this right doesn't have to do tonights homework" or "Whoever gets it right gets to pick something from the fabeld bottom desk drawer with all the confiscated stuff" or something similar.
The question is, "On a multilane road - what is the left most lane for?"
The correct answer is "Passing"
It is NOT the fast lane. You should make a big example of the first little monster.. I mean miracle to pose that answer.

I try to give alot of bonus stuff. Positive reinforcement.
I try to never give homework. I make sure i give them time to complete their assignments in class. That way they can ask ME questions and also they cant say "i didnt have time to do it at home." Not to mention, when they are quietly doing work, i can play on T4T!
Im such a good teacher
