A question.....what the hell means 420 for you ??

It looks to be an important thing for you.

I would prefer 426, which is exactly 10% of the hike vertical from Pinkham Notch to the summit ;)

(6288 - 2028 = 4260')

Unfortunatly no one can be told what 420 is. You have to expeirence it for yourself.

But here's a big hint:
Bob Dylan: Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 (http://bobdylanbiography.8k.com/bob_dylan_albums/Blonde_On_Blonde/rainy_day_women.htm)

12 * 35 = 420

NHski

Maybe we could have a T4T calculator where 12*34 = 420

I think SkiLas was talking about a 420 post club since ... oh wait... I think he now means a 425 club.

Calculators and math should not be not required for this club.

And get some of those chips with the guacamole built in... man I hope they have those. And we should stop at burger king and get some milk shakes and put M&M's in the milk shakes... we need to put the M&M's in a blender first, do you have a blender? Bob has a blender, let's wake him up. Yeah, he'd love some M&M's in his blender.

Oh wait, the TV's on.

We can walk to a White Castle from my casa...
It's tough to not go there all the time but we limit ourselves to 2 or 3 times a month and thats it...

Uscks that you don't have them up there.... I spent 6 months in Atlanta and they didnt have them either... They have Crystal Burgers which just arent the same...

elwood

As much as Burlington wants to be a "city", we only have one Taco Bell here... Still pretty rural if you ask me.

We should open a White Castle franchise up here, we could make a killing!

The other day I had such a craving for a Sonic Burger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ended up checking out their Website later.....none in New England/North East.........

Mmmmmmmmm heading to CO next week....Sonic Burger will be in order to/from DIA....(Maybe both ways)
:D

Still having a hard time tracking down info on St MAry's Glacier...not sure if you can (legally) ride it in the summer.....although from the pics I can find...looks like not too much there...

Definitly not going to haul all my gear out there, but if I can swindle some friends into heading up, should be able to round up some borrowed gear....for 1 September line!!!

Its not a state park, looks like theres a lot of landowner-type parking lot vs hiker type issues...

I've read Avi incidence report about folks getting into trouble up there in WInter and Spring, so I asume skiig/riding is allowed.....just need to find the deal for September turns....

worst case I'll just go hike around in the snow like a touron (with a :backpack: full of  )...I've driven by the exit on I-70 for the past 10 years and never actually seen this thing....

I haven't had a white castle in like 10 years. We have no Krispy Cream in this area either, which in my opinion is one of the best presentation of carbohydrate I have yet to expierence.

Guac Chips: I hear they are good... sadly, I cannot say this is from expierence.

I'm off to Monhegan this weekend, one of the last weekend trips before it starts getting cold.

I've had Krispy Kreams, they are the best chain donuts around. But if you know where to go I think most independents have better do(ugh)nuts.

Twin Donuts, Brighton, MA far too close to my house.

Mikes Donuts, Chelsea, MA

Olde Colony Doughnut Shoppe, Wesport, MA

Waitsfield Donut Factory, Waitsfield, VT. (I might have the name wrong, it's next to Mehuron's.) They actually don't make very many donuts, but they make miniature maple glazed donuts that I simply cannot get enough of. I drove an extra hour one time just to stop there, and have been known to drive down from my ski condo before taking any runs.

Elwood,

I :bum: ume you know (never make :bum: umtions) where Mehuron's SuperMarket is in Waitsfield Center. (Across from the new Grand Union) If you are facing Mehuron's standing right in front of it, turn right and it is the little bakery right in front of you all the way to the left of the series of store fronts.

Hostess donuts!!! They come about a zillion to a box and are the BEST, messiest little powdered donuts to eat on the way to the slopes. And they are only like about $2-something a box! SOMETIMES they are even FRESH! (rarely though..have to throw them in the coffee for a few minutes and they sofen up pretty well) Looks like the inside of the car has been having a blizzard when you get to the ski area! lol Have fun, be safe. We have a Krispy Kreme right next to my office. I am proud to say that I succumb only about twice a month. The best way to describe them is "warmed sugar on air". Great for a hangover but too sweet without a throbbing head.
