Today was unbelievable. The snow was perfect from the snowfields all the way down the Shurburne trail. We only had to take off our skis on the way down in a couple of places due to lack of snow. If your gonna go, don't wait. The walk up was all hardpack snow, no problem at all with regular hiking boots.
I took my 13 yr old son with me this time. What a blast.
