Kmarts closing has become the final day of the "ski" season, just as it's opening signifies the beginning.

Thank goodness it doesn't have anything to do with the backcountry ski season!

{{{say something witty}}}

The best thing about Kmart is that they went bankrupt a mere year after Martha teamed up with them.

 wrong Kmart

Skilas, are you going to be able to read and post this week?

(I imagine lack of response to this will be one possible answer)

Some might look back at this winter as awful, but not me and here's why.

1. First year I had a company friends to hike and ski tucks with.
2. I skied in December, January, February, March, April and May. (I hope to ad November and June to my list next year)
3. Of the nine times I skied this year, 6 of them were bc.
4. Skied Hale Glades where there was a foot of powder to be found after not having snowed in weeks
4. Had the opportunity to communicate and meet many TFT'ers

I don't view this as the end of the ski season, only the beginning of next. It's time to create new gear lists, shop for used equiptment, day dream about skiing, scope possible lines while hiking, attend BBQ's and drink beer with other TFT'ers whom i've yet had the opportunity to meet. It might not be skiing but it's preparation for skiing.

I must be happy because I'm am going sking on this weekend. I might be    ing on Monday as it will likely be my last time out.

Thanks SkiLas, M@, KmRN, Ski&Ride, Plummet, RR, NHski, Django, Moose. I look forward to many more runs with you next year. And thanks to all the other TFT'ers who contribute so much to this site and keep life real. Life isn't about the material things we aquire, but instead the friendships and experiences we all share in common. Special thanks to Dave for all your work to provide this forum for us!

Well Ok DMC, I guess your right DMC.

Is it just me? I'd rather have more time to spend in the mountains than more stuff.

Nah, I guess thats not true. I can never have too much stuff when it comes to supporting my Tucks fixation. I can always use more stuff.

I don't want stuff. Yes I do. I need stuff. Well only certain kinds of stuff. Not too much stuff, but stuff none the less.

Ok. I'm convinced I need stuff to support my habits.

Yes!!!!!!!

I am in need of stuff that will get me nicely toasted. The Baileys mini's in my desk drawer aren't going to quite cut it today.

Wishing you could send me some stuff to get me nicely toasted. Can you send me a grill, a cooler full of food, a beach full of beauties, lots of tequilla and some limes. Oh yeah. I also need a lounge chair so I can sit and daydream about skiing.
