My boss type guy just passed me the Travel Section of the New York Times for 9 november 2003 it has a ski resort feature on it and on Page 16 there is an article on "Skiing the Web" and skicentral is the first site mentioned with a brief description of what you provide.
Nice one!

Thanks for the info Bannick. Will have to check that one out. SkiCentral generally ranks in the top 3 or so general snowsport sites. Most of the major search engines like Google, MSN, Yahoo, AOL etc show us up in the top 3 for keyword 'skiing'. Forbes was so kind as to pick as best Winter sport site Winter 2001-2002. In season the site serves over 370,000 visitors/month.
</end of tooting ones horn>
Was that article something to do with Stowe?

the whole section was on skiing and the changeing faces of ski resorts etc.
There was a Stowe article but the one that mentions skicentral was a little blurb on skiing web sites. I have yet to read thru everything yet but I will let you know.
If you want the article I could mail it to you when I am finished if you pass on your details.

Ok, right now I am observing one of my techs calls on one computer, managing our dial in queue, answering an e-mail from my boss, adding notes to a NOC ticket, writing a response to one of our support mail questions, reviewing our weekly adherence report, and answering a question from one of our newbies. Just another slow night, probably work in a nap somewhere.
