When do people really start heading up to Tuck's?? Is it still to early to go for someone who does not have mountaineering skills or equipment. Every time I have gone it has been late-season with limited terrain available. I would like to get some top-to-bottom runs in one of these years....

Best time is usually mid April... lots of snow and available terrain, including skiout at end of the day.

Thanks Dave. What would we do with out you (freeze!!)? April sounds like the choice time. Are there any crazy's who go up this time of year??

April is pretty busy... will be especially April 20th which is the day of the Tuckerman Inferno. I'll be up there that weekend no doubt.
