What type of tranceiver do you use?

I have an Alpine Tracker...
I love it... Tried out most of them at avi training in Tucks a couple of years ago...

Learned on an old Piep... My crew has a mix of a few different models - never had a problem...

Lets go early and dig some pits!!!

As mentioned in other thread, I have a Pieps 457...I would definitly be down for digging some pits and chackin out some surface hoar (sp?)....as i have very little practical experience with Avi skills....

I have the Ortovox X1. I like it, easy to use. I would love to get some more practice with the avy skills

I've got two BCA Trackers. These and those like these are absolutely the easiest to use. I have two because one does me no good if the guy I'm with doesn't have one. That seems to happen a lot.

But the best thing was that I had to send one back because it was giving false readings ( and it was older then 1 1/2 years). They send me a new one just like that. Pretty Cool
