Kudos to skilas for volunteering to do printing of the first T4T prototype T-shirts. Luckily skilas has been persistent enough to get me off my Ibutt and I'm finally going to give him some assistance to get this project rolling again.
Does anyone have comments on the colors? My designs work well on the yellow :tshirt: shirts, but will have to be adjusted for other colors.
What color are you going to be using skilas? Do other have preferences? If we can all agree on the yellow... and your can find yourself a blank Tee in this color, that would be great.

I can print on any article of clothing sent to me, otherwise I will use whatever I can find in bulk.
My roommate has an iron on machine and a high quality color printer, so I have the major production facility. I will be charging cost for the iron on transfer paper and ink, and beer for my lovely volunteer BG, and I, and postage obviously. Any one that has a specific article of clothing they want to use can send it to me as well. Just pick out which image you want and have Dave email it to me. I am planning on doing mine on a turtleneck shirt as well as a T-shirt

Ok lets try to explain this by example... compare how the same design looks on yellow verus white and other colors... Actually looks ok, as long as I mantain a light glow around the letters so they stand out...

I think that we must have a Tuckermaniac Matt :tshirt: option. The image we are using for the TMC with the words "Schuss it", "survive it" "6:36"
And Thanks Dave, I've been en-titled! :) :cooldog:

Í'm confused about the
"Schuss it"
"survive it"
"6:36"
what is the 6:36 about?

No,no, Toni "Tuckermaniac" Matt not M@, Schuss it, survive it, 6:36 was his time wasn't it?, or was it 6:29... now I can't remember for sure...

Dave, and regarding the different color Ts keep in mind that the one you chose as a sample for determining color coordination happened to be a black and white photo... might look different dpending on the each T shirt design. That said, I think they will look good on anything anyway

So many T-shirts.. so little time to wear them all (let alone print em).
Yes well for your black and white photo, I can colorize it a bit if you like. Would be nice if you have a higher resolution version of your 'hold it' photo.
So I see you've decided to take on the roll of 'Action Man' (your avatar)... no doubt, Barbie will be pleased ;)

I'll try to scan that photo again at a higher rez.
no colorization needed.
Yeah, wanted to get in on that Barbie action! :D

SkiLasTShirt and I were going to do ours as samples next week, but I think Dave wants to wait until there are a batch to do all at once. I think the way this is going is that anyone interested in participating in this first round of T-shirt printing should:
1. E-mail Dave with your choice of design, and
2. Snail mail Skilas your :tshirt: (assuming you want us to do them).
Then SkiLas and I will print 'em up and send 'em back to you.

I have now setup a pickup page on T4T for your T-shirt images as orders come in.
You simply go to the T4T T-shirt (http://timefortuckerman.com/tshirts.html) page and click on the 'pick it up' link where all available print images can be found. Click on your corresponding front and back images to view the hi rez JPEG's. Right click with your mouse to save them for printing. Images are listed by members so they can be easy found.
Voila.
Skilas and BG: as the first..er... tuckerginnea pigs, let me know how well it works for you. The images appear sideways for easy printing in the default portrait orientation. Print at 250 DPI for best results. Let me know if you have any issues or adjustments needed.
Let see those :chicken: :tshirt: :tshirt: :tshirt: :tshirt: :tshirt: !

OK, so here is the deal. My roommate buys transfer paper in bulk and it costs her about a buck a sheet. She says she gets no fewer than 25 Tshirts, depending on complexity and colors etc, out of an ink cartridge. I figure postage would be less than $2, so I will charge $5ea for all that stuff for anyone without a color printer or the patience or whatever.
A :pizza: & :beermug: donation of $2 will be optional but greatly appreciated :D
As I said before, if you have an artical of clothing you would like to use send it along, otherwise I will be going to a Haynes outlet to buy "Beefy Tees" in varying sizes, place your orders soon. email to: skilastees@eyefoot.org

I mean ya mamma's printer :p My mammas printer is not in color...it is what we call a "laser" printer. I think. Lol. Anyway we have a color printer but Im not sure about our pacients to use it with making a shirt. In my computer class I made a Tucks mouse pad...Sadly my teacher got something and has been out since mid oct and hid our mousepads so I don't know if I will be able to use it.
Anyway back to the point....I would love to get a T. I will talk to mum about it and see what she wants to do.
