Actually, he was not pooping... I think the steepness caused an unnatural pooping posture.

Very nice, skilaslenas:
:disinfo: "One photo is worth a thousand words of dis-information"
I particularly like the photo of the right gully - being relatively inexperienced at TR (N = 1 trip), I'm still trying to envision things from the top down. Your photo makes it look so enticing :skiplow:
BTW, It's hard to believe the two photos are both you - is one a disinfo-photo?

Skimom, bear in mind that that photo of right gully makes it look like a cake walk bunny slope, it may not be as steep as The lip and Sluice but it is still pretty steep. I went up there because no one else was and the whole middle of the bowl was too crowded. Had a fantastic run, maybe my best tucks run ever.

The width worried me - it looks wide enough that you don't automatically catapult into the rocks if something goes wrong. I would have been totally :skierpetrified:  'ed if I went to the top this year. But, it gives me hope for next year.... :skiplow:

yup, plenty wide. I hiked right to the top of the snow, it was narrow up top but plnty af room to turn. If you can ski the middle of the headwall you'll be fine on right gulley.

Me on the throne, and me holding a giant snowball when I was 6, nearly 30 years ago, are both me, wasn't I cute? :D

Hey :skilas: ,
Ya sorry about the :dog: photo... Thought the caption 'Dog' was a tad boring :p
Kate is going to be jealous that you have the pink http://timefortuckerman.com/ubb/graemlins/pinkchair.gif and hers is a blue :chair: .
Skimum!
Yup Right Gully is tricky at this time of the year. I parked myself below where Right Gully bends to the left (looking up) and took some video/photos back May 20, 2000. Met lots of terrified skiers/riders that did or nearly did slide into those rocks. Check out the Tim Wipeouts on His Snowboard Right Gully (http://timefortuckerman.com/videos.html) video (bottom left of page) for an example. There are a bunch of photos taken up there May 20 (many up in Right Gully)here (http://timefortuckerman.com/photos2000-05-20.html?1)

Hey Skicdave:
Thanks for the photos and video. But, note my new vow. I will not be deterred. :D
