Well I haven't been around too much lately as work has been real busy (good busy). I have reason to suspect however that T4T is loading up our server somewhat, and performance may be an issue. Any comments from T4T regulars on the speed/repsonse on the site? How does it fair to a few months back?

I'm considering moving T4T to a new server which we may be bringing online in the New Year.

T4t Hasn't been the best "time to first byte" type thing. I'm not complaining, it's plenty fast for usage - not frustrating at all yet.

Once spring rolls around though - who knows.

Our website is just getting into it's most busy time - it's kinda crazy.

Past week or so, it's been intermittently slow to load the index of thread titles. Sometimes the browser (yeah, I know I shouldn't use IE) just outhangs my computer patience, apparently before loading any data at all.

It's interesting how we'll wait all year for good turns, but won't wait 30 seconds to see what's new online. I guess that's why there are websites about skiing, but not skiing about websites.

I've noticed that sometimes it seems slower to get back to the forum after posting... but maybe thats in my head.

We expect technology to work right all the time

We accept Mother Nature's blessing when She so chooses (unless we can afford trips to the other hemisphere)

We accept Mother Nature's blessing when She so chooses (unless we can afford trips to the other hemisphere) We do b :badwords: & moan about it though... For example, it really SHOULD be :snowflakes: lots right now. And what's up with this r :badwords: n predicted on X-mas???? What kind of x-mas present is THAT????

To get back on topic (sounds funny going from weather to computers as being "on topic") though, I do think this site is slower than many, but on my cable connection it works plenty fast enough for easy use. I don't get frustrated with it or anything, but some other forums are faster...
