Anyone have beta about the current snowpack in the Chic Chocs?
Had plans to go last year, but snowpack was on the thin side. Looking to try again this year in mid-April.

I have not followed it closely, but it seems there have been a number of good storms up that way. Have you tried the Le Massif site to find information? I would think it would be fairly comparable.

Le massif has had a lean year.
You need to check the gaspe info. Contact some of the guide services.

Hi, Joanne! I liked your photo you left this weekend. Rich may have more beta. He's headed out there with a small crew soon (some are fellow T4Ters) and has been asking all those Canadians coming through the cabin.

I wish, Steve! Thanks for the offer. I used a good chunk of vacation time on Katahdin and now I need to bank more time before another trip. I'm jealous though!

Steve - only 5 days? I hope that doesn't include the drive.
Should be good, have a blast.

No, it doesn't include the drive. And his dates are wrong--we arrive on the 17th and leave on the 23rd. :D

For the record, I am not wrong (although Seeker is not wrong either  ): 4/18-4/22 are the ski days: "planks on snow".
Nonetheless, it's good that Seeker is in charge.

Heading up this thursday night (to ski friday - monday). Any beta would be appreciated. Looks like we're dealing with an ice crust, but snow on the way.
