Is there anyone out there who could use another rider to do the backcountry with (Tuckermans GOF GG, etc.)?
From Boston, always solo, always looking for company with experience.
Thanks...

Craig:
I get up there pretty regularly starting mid-March or so. I'm also in Boston (Somerville), and with gas prices heading where they are, I'll be more inclined to rideshare up there. Just PM me when you're interested. FYI, don't know what your weekend availability is, but I have every other Friday off, so conditions permitting, I'm usually heading north on those days.
I have to ask though -- do you have avy gear and training?

OK, cool.
Don't have avi gear (the times I do the back-country out West I've always used other peoples stuff). I am picking some up this weekend so I have a set with me here. Yes, I know how to use the equipment and am familiar with what to do, and what to avoid (for the most part, but I guess you never really know).

Ridesharing is a great idea. I could use some help with gas/driving. I usually do solo tours and it would be good to have some company. I'm in Brighton and will probably be heading up more to the Presidentials and other areas as the lift served season winds down.
