Hey everyone, want to see if maybe someone can help me out.

Friend of mine only has a few more hikes before she completes her winter 48. We are planing on doing Wildcat early next week so I thought why not bring the board? Can anyone share with me some info on the Thompson Brook trail? I know the approximate location but never been there. Any info on location and or the trail its self would be very much appreciated!

It's right next to the Wildcat ski area, just North of the boundary. Any Topo map will show the drain.

Be careful going up as long sections of it are in the line of descending skiers.

Ok thank you. We wont be hiking up around the ski trails so will be out of the way.

Lots of folks go up the ski trails; Polecat is the most popular route. Just stay to the side and ski patrol doesn't have a problem with it. It's much easier than going up the Wildcat Ridge trail, especially in winter.

Tparnes! I mentioned about the skiers because they don't all stay within the boundaries! TB is very popular with a certain demographic of skiers!

If you find that the cover is thin, skiers will be a rarity. If the cover is good, with a deep base and fresh snow on top, you better stay alert!
