Hi,

This weekend I am going on a workshop trip to Tucks with people from the AMC. This is my first time too, and they gave me a list of what to bring. Basically, all it said was warm clothes, a good pack, 2 water bottles (and/or thermo), appropriate food (important), and small insolite pad (optional). It probably is a good idea to have a good pack with support. I also use poles to hike (personal preferance). I'm also going to bring sunglasses and a CAMERA!!! I hope this helped, have a great time if you go to Tucks!!
Rip it up!!

DUCT TAPE: I have never used an entire roll of duct tape faster then a weekend at tuckerman ravine.

From holding your ski tips together (nothing is better) to patching all sorts of gear, there is nothing more important than that roll of duct tape attached to your ski boot velcro strap.

yeah about the duct tape...
this is fantastic stuff. Here is a simple and great tip for how to bring it with you, without taking the whole roll.

Wrap a bunch of it around your water bottle. It's easy to access and you can just peel it right off!! Simple as that.

Duct tape fixes everything.
