Interesting read on Boston.com about some fairly large-scale commercial ski development plans for NH and ME over the years that never came to fruition. The New England ski scene would certainly be different if any of these had ever actually happened.

Does the abandoned ski lodge that they mention being put up alongside Bigelow still exist? That would seem like something that would be ideal to be put to use as a ski hut.
