My buddy and I went up to tucks last weekend, and we had a great time. It was my second time and he has been many, many times. We had a picture perfect day on Friday. We actually were the first ones in the bowl, it was as if we had the whole ravine to ourselves. We skiied left gully as a warm up, and headed over to Hillmans. It took a lot longer than we expected to get over there. We couldn't traverse like we wanted to, so we had to ski down and hike up from the base of hillmans. We skiied Dodge's and the day was pretty much over. We skiied down the sherburn in about 20-30min, having to walk only a couple hundred feet for one short stretch. We returned the next day and did one run on Dodge's (still very much worth it). Due to the crappy weather and the lack of energy/strength, we called it a day. My question is, does anyone have any info about the great gulf. What is the steepest? Anything we should know about? If someone could give me an idea what to look for /expect, that would be awesome. Any information is more than I know now, sooo... Let me know.

Hey BC,

Take a look at the site that is on the main page of this site Chauvinguides.com; has some info on other areas to ski including Great Gulf. Not a lot but you may be able to find more than I did if you look around on the site.

Thanks Paul. I went there and read all about it. I'm sure that we can navigate it on our own, but I was just hoping for an insiders advise as to the best/steepest etc... Looks like this weekend may not be that great up there due to the snow they've been receiving. Too bad, because the way last weekend went I am anxious to return.
Thanks again!!!
