New Poll Idea???

Dave...Potential poll idea. Maybe stupid, maybe cool. How about seeing how many people would be interested in maybe getting together this summer :sun: at some point for a half-way-to-winter bash? Maybe at a lake or beach or some such thing. I realize that we are, of course, scattered all over the map, but it might be interesting to see what people think. (I myself, RARELY think, according to my wife! lol). OK, that's again enuff for now on this one..... Have fun, be safe. Al

SkiStooge, it looks like you are the perfect person to coordinate the summer bash.... Poll questions could be:

1. The best date
2. The best spot
3. Who else should be invited to join in....families, pets, friends, etc.

I'd welcome the chance to meet the Tony Matt Club members, and others who enjoy the MB.

:saxaphone: could provide music, :ma: could discuss proper duct tape techniques, ravineroom Kate :chair: could help with the decor, PHIDDLEPHOS could acquire beverages, :skilas: could share info about South American ski opportunities...we could all exchange :skiplow: :skierembarrassed: stories..

The idea has appeal...and NOT just because I'm stuck working at 3 PM on a Saturday when every other human on the face of the earth is out having fun.

I'll 2nd for :skistooge: if he's keen. Personally I'd be interested in a camp out get together (Dolly Cop or Gorham state Park for example) during hiking season (late summer or fall). Include a guided hike by some featured celebrity or something and group tour of the ravine. Group :camera: and keg of Duff :beer: at lunch rocks. Hopefully good :sun: and low :debris: danger :p

Apre-er... hiking at Shannon Doors. Music by :saxaphone: man.

Maybe door price or two. Season pass at Tucks or sherpa for a day.

Alternative to camping. Maybe arrange a group deal at the Royalty Inn.

Your ideas sound good to me. However, please consider stipulating to the dis-information minister (? is he worthy of a graemiln) that he must promise not to attempt to capture us for spreading dis-information if he crashes our summer bash. :eek:
