Hey everyone,
Im thinking about heading up to White Face Mtn near Lake Placid.
The Mtn looks awsome, especally the summit.
Only prob is that the lift dosent go all the way up.
theres skiing on the right side called "The Slides" but starting from where the lift leaves you, Is there a way to hike up and ski down?

Never been..., But if you do this, I expect a full report upon your return.

Never been but I do know that you can hike up and traverse over to the slides, which as I understand they are hardly ever open. I think they may not have opened at all last year tho don't hold me to that. They need good coverage in there and they keep it closed until base and avalanche conditions are safe. Speak to a patroller and get the real deal before you head out.
