View Full Version : My Plan for the 29th - Join me if you can

I am planning on leaving the seacoast of NH around 5:00 am. That puts me at Pinkham Notch around 7:30

Breakfast at the lodge, then scope out the conditions. If there's snow anywhere on the Sherburn I will go for a skin up. If there's no snow then I will head over to Wildcat for a couple runs (skinning up).

If anyone is interested I don't mind driving. There is a park and ride at the intersection of 101 and 125 (Epping/Brentwood). I plan on leaving the area no later than 2:00, including a stop for a pint of Tuckerman's.

If all else fails and there is no snow I will still go for a walk in the woods up to HOJO's, maybe higher.

Lemme know if you wanna join me.

Yo Kfar:

I'd like to come. We've got inlaws in town so it's a pretty low probobility that I can, but I'm gonna try! I'll post/email/something as the day approaches. I have no skins, so I'd be into hiking up tux trail, who knows how high, and ski down sherburn if it's got enough. Oh that would be nice.

Please let us know what the trails are like. I will be up there the week of 12/14. I am hoping to be able to :skismile: the Sherburn. At the very least I will put my daughter in the :backpack: and :hikingboots: to :hojos:

We'll the day came and went and I was far from up North. However, I have rescheduled for Tuesday and will be heading up.

So if this day works out better for anybody and you don't mind and early start I'd love the company.

Tuesday is low probability for me: Saving the days for good snow skiing. BTW: Decathalon in Nashua has %40 ski stuff this weekend.

I think I appeased the snow god today: Spent $250 on a snow blower, and about 30min after parking it in the garage it started snowing!

I am planning on heading up tomorrow. I don't know if I'll get up to HoJo's, but I am certain to make it up to Wildcat.
