According to World Leisure, Tuckerman Ravine ranks #9 in the top 10 resorts for spring skiing. Interesting that someone would refer to Tuckerman Ravine as a 'resort', but hey... the outhouse facilities are quite 'memorable'
The top 10 chosen were...
1 - Mammoth Mountain, California
2 - Mt. Bachelor, Oregon
3 - Lake Tahoe, California
4 - Summit County, Colorado
5 - Whistler/Blackcomb, British Columbia
6 - Sunshine Village, Banff, Alberta
7 - Snowbird, Utah
8 - Killington, Vermont
9 - Tuckerman Ravine, New Hampshire
10 - Sugarloaf, Maine
Maybe we should do a survey of our own. How about top 10 reason Tucks is a top 10 resort?

PS, is it possible that World Leisure (Leisure and Tuckerman's in the same sentence  )doesn't have anyone on their staff that has ACTUALLY skied at Tucks?, and it was all based on people like us saying how awesome it is? failing to mention the ascent options?

Good list skilas,
But alas I would move the 'most likely place to see a naked skier' down to #10 at least...
The World Leisure Suit Survey was based on their readership apparently. So nobody had to come to the 'Tuckerman Ravine Resort' to check it out.
I noticed on their site, each chosen 'resort' is linked to a details page on their site. Since perhaps they don't have a 'Tuckerman Ravine Resort' page, it seems they linked to a 'Wildcat Resort' page... guess sort of the next best/closest they could get?? Just guessing here.
Or am I wrong... do people get Wildcat confused with Tucks cuz of photos?... maybe its that 'Gondola' myth thats causing the confusion.
Oh by the way...
Top reason #26 (Why Tucks is a top 10 resort):
Best resort security in the US... (Here Kate gets escorted off the mountain for not having a lift pass)...
