Hey all. Just wanted to let you all know that Lionel is going to be working up a special weather forecast for the weekend every weekend this summer. The basic idea is that he'll go day by day, and look at a number of indicators that don't get alot of attention in any other forecasts available, and help you make decisions about what activity is a good bet one day vs. another...
here's the first one:

Don't hesitate to contact him via email through his profile (http://www.famousinternetskiers.com/profiles/a-j-aka-lionel-hutz/) to make suggestions about what you want/need to see in forecasts if he isn't helping you make decisions. he's real good about responding to what people need and want.
and while you're at it check out our redesigned homepage
http://www.famousinternetskiers.com/
hopefully it gets you to the good stuff faster. as always we want your feedback, and hope to see you in the mountains!

good idea. Will be especially helpful in the fall for long traverse type hikes and such...

cool glad you like it... hopefully it works out better than the vague NWS rec reports, and esp for areas where there isn't a weather observatory stationed atop the highest mountain in the land.
all thanks goes to Lionel.
unless anyone has any objections, i'm going to continue posting his weekend forecasts in this thread as we go through the summer.
