I'm going. Does anyone want to join me, or are you going to let me have ALLL that sun-kissed party corn to myself?
Thinking of checking out Airplane/GOS, or whatever still has the goods. Saturday if it's nice, and Sunday for sure. Start at cog?
Guidelines:
1) This ain't a date with anyone but the CORN. :schlitz::jumpturn:
2) Do not assume chicks can't keep up, or you just might go home with yer tail between your legs when I nab your line. :cooldog:
3) E-mail me at jen.veilleux@lbpa.com if you're up for the scratch and dig.
It ain't over til it's over, folks!
:skifemcool:
I'm a homebody this w/e or I'd just have take that bait. Jump shot left me ages ago and took a lot of my hair for company...makes little apparent difference on skis; seems I can still get up the hill and down the mountain :D

Per usual, nice call Rog. Looks like there will be a favorable window btween systems for Sun into Mon. Plus the rain will give us a fresh canvass! If I can get the pass, just might see you up there. Been busy with spring rush and hope to get out and take a few turns with a fun crew! We're easy to spot. :cooldog: PM sent. Have fun. :D:D:D

Just now need to work on that pass . . .
Timining is everything so we'll start slow :skiplow: ! To avoid this response,
(which is never good for anyone!); and, worse, . . . this, :yardsale:
Might have to :jumpturn: thru a few hoops but with a lot of this :D :D :D
maybe some diner, music, dancing and some of this, :beer::beer::beer: ;);
and a little of this, :ng2006: ; ooops! :skierembarrassed:
We'll end up as a  with the pass!
 I clearly had to much time on my hands today (rest day)! :D
C U all on the hill! Looking good up there! ;)

Hello All:
Experienced hiker, experienced skiier, but a complete newbie to Tuckerman.
I'm planning a trip for Sunday, and have been reading up all I can on this site and others.
Any friendly route advice for a rookie?
Thanks,
Pat

I may be heading up Sunday but I haven't decided if I will do east or west side. I will probably head up the east side but if the cars are lined up on the road like they were last time, I may detour.:)

pat:
just did my 1st tux trip w/ my daughter.
have no worries - just take your time and enjoy
everyone we met was great - very helpful
we met people in the parking lot, on the trail, HoJo's, etc.
i thought i was in decent shape - but the mountain proved otherwise - especially the trip up right gully.
one thing i learned was you only need to bring enough water for the trip to HoJo's
there is a water pump just past it to fill up
make sure you test out your pack fully loaded before you head out
we learned alot for our next trip.
good luck!

...... added to a sandwich makes it spicy!;)
You don't want GOS from West side, BTW.....but lots of the 'whatever..' options. 'Westeners' pre-trip meeting in the parking lot..
Airplane looked nice other day, but a little thin up top and less full than previous years.
2) Do not assume chicks can't keep up, or you just might go home with yer tail between your legs when I nab your line.
No one assumes that...but on the other extreme-try not to emasculate anyone, Jen..!
