We may have escaped detection by the Dis-Information Minister, but Rescue-Dog located us just outside Hojos on Mother's day. After a record number of pretrip questions, Skidudeski and I FINALLY made it.

The hike up was :happyhiker: . We did two runs, both to the bottom of the chute. We were a bit  until we made the first turn. The first run was :skiplow: . The second run was also :skiplow: . The trip back was :unhappyhiker: :happyhiker: due to shifting backpack issues. Overall, the trip was :D . We hope to return to go all the way up.

We took photos (including one of our near capture by Rescue-Dog), but I get a red x in a box when I try to transfer them. Any ideas of how to get images to transfer?

BTW, thanks to Dave, M@, Skilas and Al for all of the pre-trip advise -

Ah mumster,

I thought you were having a problem downloading your photo from your camera. Didn't have a lot to go on except that you got an X in a box. Luck have it however, I noticed you mean your profile photo.

The problem is your url isn't complete, it says
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/c67e6047/bc/My+Photos/deliberating+the+backbowl.j instead of
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/c67e6047/bc/My+Photos/deliberating+the+backbowl.jpg

There is also a permission problem with the file so it won't be visible.

If you want, email your photo too me and I'll add it for you.

Will try again with the image of Rescue-dog approaching Skimom and Skidudeski. We have more - if they transfer, where is the best place to show them?

Great! Glad you two finally made it and had a great time.

I think we were all  at the beginning because of :skierpetrified: and maybe even :skierscared: but once you get your legs under you every thing turns :skicool: and as you said :skiplow:

Thats better. I fixed your photo link in your profile mumster. Think you can change the number of times you've been to tucks now :)

If you have your photos in a yahoo photo album you could link there on your profile, plus I can add a link to the T4T Links Page (http://timefortuckerman.com/links.html).

If you have photos you want in an online album on T4T, you could email them and I'd set them up for you like tinnerdelux's. See the link below the Intellicast image on the T4T Home Page (http://timefortuckerman.com/).

Just to clearify things... the :skiplow: graemlin is a female snowplowing skier. Now don't get on to me about why there isn't a snowplow boy... mumster made this one.

Actually I have yet to see anyone snowplow down the headwall

Suitable for skiing the Sherburne perhaps...

that's cute, but it does look as though she is plowing something WAY TOO STEEP for a plow :D

There mumster. Got your photos and updated the photo above. It's a Yahoo issue.

You entered the wrong photo above - it was supposed to be the one with the Rescue-Dog
:happydog:

....or did I send the wrong one?

I guess yahoo doesn't like being used for transporting images. I'll need to find another link-up site.

I'm not sure why there isn't a comparable male image - or where the snowplow part came in. [/qb][/QUOTE]

I would like everyone to notice how the velcro strap on SkiMom's skiis has ridden down towards the top of her pack. DUCT TAPE doesn't do that.

Thanks for the report. Gotta love fresh tuckerman information.

Viva La Duct Tape!

M@ Hi M@:
I was hoping no one would notice that.
We had duct tape, but figured standard ski binders would do the trick - I thought of you (the duct-tape M@ster) on the way down when my skis slid apart and the back of my knees were impailed with every step. :unhappyhiker:

Lesson learned - next time it's duct tape for me.

M@: Regarding Duct-tape...All I can say is "Amen, Brother!"...I can truly say that I hope the original inventor died a very wealthy man! (Unless he is still alive in which case I hope he either retired a wealthy man or is going to retire a wealthy man)...OK, 'nuff for this reply... Have fun, be safe. Al

And also, I have to say, realizing that it may not be politically correct or something to say this of another mans' wife, that Skimom is cute! Nice pic, too. Have fun, be safe. Al In addition, I would, (in a very morbid way), LOVE to see someone SNOWPLOW the Headwall or Dodge's! lol Again, Have fun, be safe. Al

M@ From my angle M@, it looks more like her left ski is all bend out of shape... I do believe we told her to bring her rock skis :skierpetrified: but this is ridiculous!

Also it seems her son (think it is her son) has a whole wad of :ducttape: stuck between the tips of his skis... you'll have to give them instruction next time on wrapping technique.

BTW, skidudeski and I vowed not to let the Dis-Information Minister, Mr. al-Sahaf, capture us for at least one year. If he attempts to capture us, skidudeski will restrain him with wads of :ducttape: ... just like he did to the tips of his skis.
