still worth going?

So my brother and I were planning on coming down to tuckermans from Onterrible for our first time this weekend. Have the majority of our trip planned out and was looking forward to some awesome spring skiing. Recently have checked the weather and reports and things do not look good (looks like it willl be hardpack/ice). Is it still worth making the trip this weekend in your opinion? Don't want to spend the money this weekend if the conditions make it almost impossible to ski.

And I know its always worth it, and always worth an adventure, but kind of low on funds right now so want to make the best of what I have.

Forecast not looking favorable at all for spring skiing. That's a long way to drive for less than ideal conditions.

I'm wondering the same thing, I was hoping to go Fri-Mon but that forecast looks nasty. I like a good adventure but thats a long drive from PA.

If you can be flexible, I'd wait a week. This is going to be one of those weekends where winter and old spring hazards will complicate things. If certain weather models are right, there will be avy concerns and hidden crevasses/holes. If others are right, it will be cloudy and probably firm with a light coating of new snow. Also, probably poor visibility the whole weekend.

Looking forward to possibly some lower elevation fresh at closed resorts while waiting for spring to return! Wouldnt mind if we cycled like this until June.
