Hey everyone: Just got home. What a great time we all had!

(That should work...)
Weather Summary: COLD.
Here's a quick condition report, cause that's always what I'm most interested in...
Thur 4-25: Hiked up (started at 11pm, arrived around 2am) and it was about 3 inches of snow on the trail bottom to top. (This changed dramatically, keep reading) Weather cleared pretty fast and it was only a light snow coming down by this time.
Skiied Hillman's on Friday 4-26 around 4pm and it was rock solid bumps with a little peanut butter inbetween. Pretty crappy. We didn't go very high, and I heard the snow was better higher.
<Someone remind me what happened to most of friday night please... maybe someone in lean-to 6?>
Skiied the chute on Saturday 4-27 and it was EXCELLENT. No runnels and TONs of snow to turn in. Folks were taking spills left and right and coming up white and happy. Weather was mostly sunny, but it was just darn cold all weekend. Snow in the bowl in general was just excellent.
Heard reports that the upper left gully was ok, but the bottom was like hillman's.
No crevasses to be seen, and folks were coming over the lip all day.
All sane individuals recommended avoiding the right side, but a few people were in there anyhow... not going over the right gully though.
Tuckerman trail from Bowl to Hojo sucked as usual.
A buddy of mine skiied 1/4 down Sherburn and described it as "Spotty." I didn't bother... changed modes from skiing to hiking is tough.
Tuckerman Trail down from Hojo down was a sheet of ice for the top 1/3. Crampons were worth $100 at the top. Middle and Bottom 1/3 were rocks with a little mud. I saw a snowboarder sliding down on his board and wanted to cloths line him. The icey spots were really bad. Coulda made a few bucks on home video just shooting folks coming down that top most cut-back on there backsides.
The wedding was held at Hermit Lake as the temperatures were too 'iffy' in the bowl for the entire wedding party. Congratulations!
Shout-outs to SaxMan! We meet again. I thought all my jokes were pretty funny, sorry it was never 'saxable' And to Paul and company, awesome you could make it. To the wedding party, a fun looking bunch, sorry we didn't stick at the lake for the ceremony. Lean-to 6: What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs in a tree? Lean-to 7 Mates (our lean-to): Thanks for the avalanche advice and rubber gloves.
See Y'all next year.
