Camping at Pinkham

I wanted to go up this weekend and I was wondering if there are any places to camp that are lower than the Hermit Lake Shelters. Any possible spots by the Joe Doe Lodge or anything like that

No camping allowed in the Cutler River Basin, which covers that whole area. The closest campground is a couple of miles north, Barnes Field. The area around Tux has severe restrictions due to severe overuse in the previous century.
