Cold Tucks video to fight this warm day

I'm not sure if you got a link for this little video of Tucks 4/20/03. It's a pretty cool one with skiers & rider on the center gully and directly on the icefall.

Great story + pics too and the link for the video is at bottom. (11 megs)

The guy who did the icefall without stopping + all the rest of ravine in 1 shot is really cool to see (near the end of the video).

Very, very cool. Those last two guys skied a burly line. Mrs. Octopus and I were on The Mountain that day, but we didn't see these guys -- we were up on the East snowfields for most of the day, and then skied the headwall/chute out.

Totally inspirational for next year!

Burly is the right word... they had to jump over a crevasse to land the last step, according to the story !!

I think they skied it near the end of the day. Looking at this pic, I'm very eager to come there with my skis next april ;)

SWEEEEEET!!!! I've already watched that video 2 times since last night :skifemcool: It helps me with this awful humid weather, and where did the sun go?????? Has anyone seen it? B/c it sure isn't in NH right now!!!!

We got a little bit of sun here today, but not for real long periods. Extremely humid here too. It was just 80 outside, but it looked like well over 90.

I think this is probably the less sunny summer since the 1991 one, with the Pinatubo.
