I finally saw this here in Portland last night. A good movie for sure, but the TGR "High Life" definitely has better skiing. "Journey" was much more commercial and less extreme. Higher-budget, though, so the travel segments were great. The kayak bit was awesome, very unique. Near the end, "Journey" had a few big cliff hucks, which got the crowd to cheer, but the biggest drop paled in comparison to the smallest drop shown in "High Life". "Journey" also had more jibbing, which this crowd (?) may not be into as much (anyone ever slide the ridgeline of Hojo's?)...
So I enjoyed it, very much. But TGR's was better!
