Thank you, caperunnerTrust me on this...even if no one makes plans with you before you go, if the weather is at all decent, you are almost never alone in Tuckerman Ravine or on Hillman's Highway. The shelters are a scene too.

Hiking up it becomes the longest and friendliest conga line I have ever seen. Bring a camera and be ready to shoot images of the zany, cool and unexpected scenes and people...nobody back home would believe otherwise :D

Thanks for the infor. I have only done the mt. once and am not farmilar. So you think I can handle it with out making the newspaper? Then I am in!!! any more advice I will take. How about cramp-ons will I need in March?

I am planning on a few days up there next week. Mon- Weds. As RR said there are always folks up there and although there is alone time, there are always folks around if you are looking to chat.
I have gone up alone numerous times and always connect with someone.
As for specific info on the trip check out all the previous posts and advice from fellow T4t'ers.
Weather is looking unstable for the coming week, I fear.
