Might have to have a re-vote poll. Maybe reduce the number of 'advertised' nights to encourage more active participation on certain nights. :mandm:

It's hard to commit to a specific night. I work shifts and am a single parent so my schedule's all over the place. What I like about the 'each night format' is that I logon and if there's peeps there...great...if not, oh well try another night. Just my 2 cents.

I'm still on dialup at home. I'm about a km too far from the switch to get DSL. I have a satelite disk and highspeed satelite from my dish provider is still only oneway and you have to have a dialup ISP. And I have a new home and didn't have cable from the beginning so to bring cable in I have to pay a rediculous hook up charge to have them run the cables to my house. So I'm patiently waitin until either, Rogers will not charge me to install from the pole, Aliant gets there :badwords: together and opens up the switch down the street or Bell goes two way. /end rant.

It's to slow for me at home so I don't tend to do the chat thing.

I was thinking the same thing. People are busy weekends, and every night is too much. Maybe 2-3 nights a week would be better.

Sun or Mon, then another evening - whichever night Survivor ISN'T on.

While on the mention of Reality TV shows...

Hey anybody watch the 'Joe Schmo' marathon on Sunday night? Great concept for those of us who missed half the episodes. The series marathon ran from about 3pm on Sunday till 11pm. :chair: Kate, my son and I watched 8 hours of Joe so if you have any questions, just ask. Finaly is tonight so DONT FORGET TO WATCH IT!! Anyway, maybe we need a poll to identify nights to chat. Don't worry Mumster, I feel out of it too. The only one I watch of the above mentioned shows is The Simpsoms. It's Sex and The City, and Sopranos for me. We've all had this "conversation" a couple times before??

As fro chat nights I'm with whoever said I log on and see, I can't schedule anything my schedule is too erratic. If I'm able to be on at 9:00 and others are there great!

Pure genious there. We took out a load bearing wall and I'm just finishing the drywalling. Was up to my ears in mud last night at 9. Painting it the next few days probably. First real home improvement project I've tackled. I don't count painting, or having HomeDepot carpet the basement.

Concord Hospital is a 200 bed hospital specializing in cardiac surgery, ortho, and now has a new huge cancer center. Do I sound like a recruiter???? :skiplow:

KmRn: I got a bro-in-law whose doing a cardio-thorasic fellowship in Nashville right now, do you think your hospital would be a good place for such a doctor? I heard that he had to work in a city or something like that - that a big city hospital would be the only place that could use him.

Concord Hospital does do cardiothoracic surgery, however, they only accept family practice residents for teaching, and a few general surgery residents, no fellowships. But Dartmouth does, and what a beautiful hospital!!
