K.. I have a thought. How about a T4T team entering the Son of Inferno? Based on our member community and their athletic capability (as opposed to the beer drinking abilities of Elwood for example), I would nominate :mumster: to head the team. What do ya'all think?

K.. I have a thought. How about a T4T team entering the Son of Inferno? Me and Elwood can hang out by the bridge by Hojos and root... And drink beer.. And lounge... Maybe eat some food... stuff like that...

I'd er... forget it. I know I will best serve the team documenting the glorious event by taking photos and video. I'm no spring :chicken:
I was busy pumping water when a few runners came by the bridge on the way to Hojos last year...
They looked really exausted... ;)

Ty Webb:
"So how do you measure yourself against other skiers?"
"By height"

If you allow me I could hang with you guys, snack and man the beer table for the T4T Team. Or maybe they could compete with foam dome helmets!!!!!

One minor problem - everyone's hanging out watching...
I can Run/Hike or Ski or Bike. And my level of contribution to the team would probably be in that order. I've got a friend whose big into biking and were toying with the sugarbush triathlon.
I've never kyaked in my life.
I'd really like to be part of a team that's goal is to finish, as opposed to a wicked competitive thing.
Realize: This is a $750 race. ($150 a person)
But getting in shape for something like that is gonna make your spring skiing trips up there a dream.
I believe strength is like 1/2 of skiing... ability is the other 1/2, and beer is the 3rd 1/2.

I'll shoot tape. I'm moderately OK at it. Have to be in a VHS-C format unless someone has a better cam but any footage is better than none I suppose. Have fun, be safe. Al :skistooge:

I'll do the bike...and I know that ride like the back of my hand.
TFT will have the best grilled Potabella Shroom sammies I can make!
Barbados hot sauce, of course!

One minor problem - everyone's hanging out watching... LOL Too funny mumster... gad what a bunch! Are we all old foggies or what?
So... TenSeven will do the bike leg, M@ will do the hike or ski leg, Elwood and DMC will be on beer kegs.. I mean the beer legs, RR will be on the cookin leg and Stoogie and I will be jockying for best position to shoot the whole thing.
To summarized this... THIS COULD BE EMBARASSING!
I thought we had some young spring :chicken: 's?
What about skidudeski? Doesn't he race with Mumster?
Franko sounds young (hes in school.. er ecole) maybe hes up for it.
How about Bladegirl?... no blades are no match for skis :p
Maybe Jolly J can be our medic...
Castlerock sounds fit and younger than some of us. Maybe he kyaks?
Targheehucker perhaps?
TheOctopus might be able to hang on in the race even... :D
pscopa is into hiking and running, fitness and such... sounds good
kmrnskier is young, into cardiac even. Maybe she kyaks? (spello)
Tenseven is apparently a detective... maybe he could get the scope on the other teams.
BerkshiresBoarder is a student/lawnmower... oh well....
Time to do some recruiting for T4T!!!
I will chip in towards the entry fee...

Skidude would go. It'll just be embarrassing when he flies past all the adults.

[QUOTE] TheOctopus might be able to hang on in the race even... :D Nice....
This is so on my goals list.... Never kyaked though. I fantisize about someday doing all five legs of it myself. That would leave me three extra in reserve....
If there's interest, I'd be most useful for the hike/run or the ski, probably in that order. Skiing ability is way solid, but fast is something I've never sought after/excelled at.
On the subject of sadistic endeavors, there's always the Auto Road Race in June -- we could get a crew together for that. Lottery is in March '04.

I have some kayaking experience. Only problem is I don't have a Kayak.... or I could just be a medic and hold down the fort with DMC and Elwood.
We have to eat, can cook, bent and frail body cannot go fast....must cook!
Besides, if we can get the Lu Lu Lu girls to distract the other teams...what kind of speed do we need?
Jolly J:
or I could just be a medic and hold down the fort with DMC and Elwood. Now if the ridings good - I cnat commit to anything.. Elwood and I just might be climbing up Dodges and watching from up there... ;)
First Snowboarding.... then everything else :)

I can dig pits to trap other competators. I tried putting a britney spears trap door in one of my projects. It would have been calibrated for her wait and dimensions so that she would step on it it in mid lip sync and kapow, disappear from the world for ever bah hahahahahaha.....ehem but the client got wise to it.
