Hey everyone,

Im looking into buying some new skis this year,
I currently am skiing on K2-170's cap triditional straights, which I love and plan on keeping around, Ive had them for about 6 years at least.

I never seemed to like the parabolic skis but ive never tried them they just look kina dumb to me.. but people, including my father tell me they are great.

What Do U Guys and Girls Think?
Brand?
Price?
Where? (online?)

I was wondering what everyone suggests, I love steep technical trails, Bumbs.

When I go to Tucks, I'll bring my old K2s.

Thanks all..

Hey did you all hear, it Snowed on Mt.Washington Today... WOOT !!! :snowflakes:

I'm picking up a pair of 180cm XScreams. Never demoed them or anything. I've heard lots of good things from folks that ski like me though.

I'm getting them used here:

$199 with bindings.

M@ those aren't XScream Series, (the yellow one) which is the only one you should consider

I'm currently riding on a pair of Rossignol RPM 21. They are a lot of ski and can carve tighter than I can. I having had them loose grip in a carve yet and I've never booted out mind you they come with a built in riser and I have a demo plate on top so there is little chances of that. They float great in the pow but they are a little heavy. These are true muscle car skis. I don't think I'd recommend for the first tip buying shaped.

I'd recommend you buy something from the Rossingnol's Bandit line. They are a great ski. I had a pair of Bandit X's a few years ago and they were great go anywhere do anything ski.

Whatever ski you get make sure you get them short. I don't think length matters as much anymore, I think it has more to do with girth. :p I ski on a pair of 178 Pow Airs (great all round ski and a twin tip) and 177 RPM's. If I was to do it again I'd get the next size down in RPM's.
